My thread on this didn't go off too well, so I'll put this here. >_<

I was originally planning on getting myself an iPod touch 5G, but while I was at the store I decided to see the Nexus 7 and played with it for a bit, and I immediately fell in love. Now I'm on the fence. Should I get the N7 or iPT5? Any thoughts?

Don't even consider the iPod touch. Not even for a minute. The N7 makes the Touch look like a toy.

I think that that will depend on what you are want/need, as they're quite different.

I had a 32gig 4th generation iPod touch, and while it was great I never really used it since I have an iPod Nano. I ended up selling it to get a Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 (used),which I use a ton. I was looking at the Nexus 7, but the lack of expandable storage kind of nixed it for me, as I load mine up with books, comics, and movies (I have a 32 gig sd card in it and it's over half full already).

What were you planning on using the iPod touch for, other than music?

Gaming, video watching, and occasionally reading if I'm on the go or at home. I too have a 32GB 4th gen, and I nearly burned through all my birthday money to fill that bad boy with games. I don't plan on splurging on the Nexus, since now I don't go crazy on apps and I've managed well with storage on my HOX.

its a Giant African Landsnail lol should double in size
not very common here lol i worked in an exotic pet store for a while and got a lot of "free" stuff its amazingly fast moving!

id go for the N7 but im biased by my love of android and its a NEXUS!
other than that its perfect size and very cheap

I'm not too interested in kindles. Only things I read really are just forums, I just absolutely despise books. And no to both, I really struggled with the accents. Scottish accents are pretty cool though, especially Soap MacTavish's (Modern Warfare reference).

If you are using tapatalk go to the thread list. Press and hold on the thread title. The subscribe menu should pop up.
