I here you!!!! I just recently got back into going to concerts after a long absence. The "Old bug" got to me and felt out of place at some of the concerts. But I am back in full swing and have gone to a few this year so far:

X
Vandals
The Cult
Janes Addiction
Dandy Warhols
Dead Can Dance
Radiohead
Trying to get tickets to "Muse"

I've never been to a rave. Been to plenty of parties and still going. But u need to go to one of those big ass raves you see in tv.

Everybody seen project x? What a dream omg. In love with that movie

a few UK bands there mate.
ive seen Muse at a festival and they blow you away exactly like youd expect them to :)

Muse is one of my favorite bands, I am going to get tickets......... Just waiting to find the best one's, not into being in the "nose bleed" section, must be in the front somewhere!

Funny thing is, what got me to take a sabbatical was...................While attending a Stone Temple Pilots concert, some Jackass got on stage and then decided to launch himself into the crowd...........Specifically on me and my buddies head. That screwed my back up for awhile.

ouch man. lol im no mosher or anythin when it comes to guitar music but i like to be standin at front to the left or right of the mental people.
with electronic music i like my space to slip into ma own wee world :)

with Muse i was right at the back just coz i stumbled across them when i got lost but they sucked me in :)

I've been out of the scene for a few years, even though I still like to catch a good show here and there. Last big show I saw was U2 and Arcade Fire. I was there to see Arcade Fire and U2 was just a bonus. I miss playing shows most though, every time I go out to a show I get the bug. Having kids and a full time job doesn't help in playing music and going to shows. Doesn't help that I live in the boonies and the closest city is a small city (even though we have been able to get some big names in the past 10 years) It sort of sucks that the variety just isn't there, that's the plus of living in a real city.

I saw U2 recently, awesome band in concert. I am lucky in that I live in the middle of Los Angeles and San Diego, so I have my pick of concerts from those two cities and my stomping grounds OC. Loads of small venues to choose from too for those bands that have "jumped the shark". I have been trying to catch up and see the bands that I missed in my younger years at the small venues.

Lol. I always bring my own chemicals. And they've been getting better and better. The stuff chemists come up with now is awesome. Though a lot of stuff I stock is illegal in the UK.

There are quite a few bands that I would have loved to see but they are defunct or some of the members have passed on so it makes it difficult. One band I saw a few years ago that I thought I would never get a chance to see was the Pixies in a pretty small venue. It was awesome! Too many bands I would love to see and not enough money.

Love the Pixies, I was into a lot of the 4AD music which is the label they were on.
