Dude, we really were just yanking your chain (at least, in here). Some people in these forums get stupidly defensive about Android, just as they get defensive about Apple on the iMore forums. It's okay to not want an Apple product, but the way some people scream from the rooftops when someone else says that they do is really dumb, not to mention tiring.

And I never said that I had a problem with iProducts... I use my Nano every day. And I really do want a larger Nano without having to get an iPod touch or a big honking iPod, just from a convenience standpoint.

But I'm so sick of these damn lawsuits. :banghead:

Yeah, I know. You guys are quite more tolerant than others that I've seen prowl these forums. I'm going to admit this here and now, I still love and use my iDevices. At one point in time I was a diehard Apple fanboy. But ever since my first taste of Android 2 years ago (Motorola Backflip; honestly worst device I've ever used) I really haven't looked back. Although it was laggy as hell, had atrocious battery life and rebooted on its own constantly, I was impressed on the level of customization that it had for such a weak (hardware wise) device compared to the iPhone 4 at the time. Still had a good impression of Apple, but now after the ridiculous lawsuits and Phil Schiller's bashing of the N7 (he couldn't even call it by its name; what a card!) without mentioning the mini's screen is inferior and pretty much all the hardware, whatever fanboyism left within me is deteriorating rapidly.

But that probably won't stop me from buying their shiny toys.

Curious Funky, why on Earth would you hate PCs? Mobiles are cool for when you're out and about, but I can't think of a single task that can be performed better on any mobile device. Phone/tablet hardware is improving fast, but it's going to be a LONG while before they have CPUs pumping out 42ghz, 32GB RAM, 10TB+ storage and a graphics chip with even 1/10th the power of a cheap PC graphics card.

Honestly, I don't either, as my phone and tablet fill my needs fine, but I still boot up my ol' PC once in a while for some Happy Wheels

like Mango says.. i dont really need one. also pcs were rare in school. i wasnt allowed near one lol. i had a Commodore 64 in 84 lol and learnt a bit of the Basic language which turned out to be obsolite lol. i can surf the net fine, install a programme, even learned how to use Word and spreadsheets on my Animal Care course but im far more into app-based stuff and android. pcs just hate me
currently downloadin JB and its taking forever over clairs throttled 3g connection.
like it downloaded the firmware which didnt take long and showed this page

now its downloading a much slower file 7% in 20mins with this screen

is that normal Mervin?
it better work once its downloaded that lol...
if not il wait for OTA.
is Now supposed to talk to u mate? i thought it just offered "cards" of interest?
is the phone any faster? i cant imagine it bein any faster tbh...

oh yeah. my mum got a white Galaxy Ace today and as soon as i saw it i thought "iphone4"
do they sell them in US?
im shocked apple havent sued it.
its ma mums 1st android so i had to make her a gmail account and set it up.
she only gets 1gb free data... will that be fine just for syncing contacts and picassa? she wont browse or anythin on it

i dont watch trailors... they give u a misguided view of the whole movie and im not much into big budget movies (other than sci-fi)
