The band is based in Montreal however the original arcade fire formed in Boston (only 1 remaining member) the lead singer and his brother are from the states.

So my friend (an Apple fanboy) is singing praises on how iPhone 5 beat the Galaxy S3 in drop tests. While I was trying to tell him that those tests really aren't scientific (due to so many variables, like angle the phones landed, whether they were tossed etc.) he kept on saying that it still beat it in the test. Then, he said "it's just overall better." For one thing, a phone's build quality doesn't necessarily reflect the overall aspects of the phone, such as performance.

"How is it better?" I asked.
Again, I got "It's just overall better."

I don't think it's better if you have to jailbreak it to do the things that we can do out of the box. And when they get those running, they lag, whereas it's smooth here. Not to mention we also have the option of running a custom rom, the option to overclock or underclock the CPU, and probably other things (I'm still an Android novice :P)

And we have HD displays that make the Retina display look like poop (that 1080P HTC J Butterfly :o)/rant

^Sorry about that, it's just fanboys are one of my pet peeves :P

lol none of my friends have iphones (i sometimes wish they did)
my brother has one though but he's not really geeky.. its just a phone :)

so a guy on the i9300 sub-forum is sayin JB for unbranded s3 is available on Kies in UK but others are sayin its not there...
surely over Kies it wouldnt be a staggered release over a place as small as the UK?
just givin ma phone a charge and firing up the laptop (i hate computers and detest Kies)
maybe il be on JB next time i post.
the guy is at opposite end of the island though....

Kind hurts seeing them pulverized though... =/

My boyfriend is an applefag... we fight a lot over this subject.

oh man i just pulled the home button part of my DecalGirl skin off because it was getting tatty... now im stuck with a sexy black "carbon" bezel and a stupid bright white home button!
hope i get used to it or might put black nail varnish on it? not sure about destroying the re-sale price though....
think ill get used to it :)
