So my friend (an Apple fanboy) is singing praises on how iPhone 5 beat the Galaxy S3 in drop tests. While I was trying to tell him that those tests really aren't scientific (due to so many variables, like angle the phones landed, whether they were tossed etc.) he kept on saying that it still beat it in the test. Then, he said "it's just overall better." For one thing, a phone's build quality doesn't necessarily reflect the overall aspects of the phone, such as performance.
"How is it better?" I asked.
Again, I got "It's just overall better."
I don't think it's better if you have to jailbreak it to do the things that we can do out of the box. And when they get those running, they lag, whereas it's smooth here. Not to mention we also have the option of running a custom rom, the option to overclock or underclock the CPU, and probably other things (I'm still an Android novice

)
And we have HD displays that make the Retina display look like poop (that 1080P HTC J Butterfly

)/rant
^Sorry about that, it's just fanboys are one of my pet peeves
