Speaking of which, when I root my One X, which one should I go for between those two (CM10 or AOKP)? I kinda prefer the one with the best multitasking, but I'm fine with anything.

They both have identical multitasking. Both a million times better than sense multitasking.

I haven't tried any of those aosp roms. Thought about it. But then what would I show off to those iPhone lovers? They love the swipe screen cap and pop out video/browser wait till I get multi window

Touchwiz is an abomination. Stock is far nicer and should impress the ifans even more.

Kinda. AOKP is CM10 with a few more features. Both are pretty much vanilla android. Backup your phone and try one of them. I guarantee you'll never want to go back to touchwiZ.

What do you guys think about a chrome book.? I'm thinking of buying one cause their so dam cheap! ($250) Imo it'll be a lot more functional then a tablet. School work will be a breeze since this will be mine and I got my handy dandy HTC one x to tether with. (On LTE btw) What do you guys think.? Yay or nay.? Are there any other $250 labtops you guys recommend.? This might be my Christmas present.

I second crack's motion. Laptops have more in functionality.

Microsoft Security Essentials is free, and from what I hear it does a dandy fine job a free antivirus. And pretty much anything is prone to viruses, even iOS.

I used to use CM on all of my phones (OG EVO, OG Epic 4g, Epic Touch). But I prefer the newer Touchwiz (GS3 and Note 2 specifically) over CM now. I use many of the features that just aren't in vanilla Android.

I do think that the Touchwiz launcher kinda sucks, though. I use Nova over it.

Having said that, I still use CM10 on my Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. Touchwiz is HORRENDOUS on it.

You'll probably need to find a Windows machine to root.

Google docs replaces Microsoft word(not to mention its free) and the assignments I have to do generally deal with internet access,so Ill be fine with a chrome book. well off to bed for this geek,later guys.

I haven't had a virus in 3 years and I don't even use anti-virus software. It's pretty much a non-issue since windows 7. And no, you wouldn't be able to root with a chomebook.

There are always laptops for under 300 dollars in the weekly ads from best buy, Walmart, staples etc. You can even buy refurbished thinkpads from newegg for 200$ flat. And Google docs will never be up to par with Microsoft office.
