The tiles thing is a part of Windows 8. On PC Windows 8 looks pretty much the same.

Ditto. I use some Touchwiz features and Nova gets rid of the ugly. And I only use Roms recommended by Skunk. And we all know how he feels about AOSP lol.

It's definitely a gaming machine. Very powerful GPU for awesome graphics, and it is a Tegra device so you can play all those Nvidia-only optimized games.

A touchscreen laptop will run you upwards of 600$. Generally a 15 inch touchscreen costs 150-200$ just to manufacture.

The N7 is probably the best tab on the market right now. Maybe the kindle 8.9 if you can get it running CM10.
