Went kayak fishing on Thursday and got sun stroke. Went fishing in the river this morning and nearly got cut off by the tide and ended up struggling through a thigh deep mud bed to get to the mangroves. Is someone trying to tell me something?

Yikes that's scary. If you see a locust swarm your days may be numbered. Lol.

I had quite a scare in Cosumel a year ago where my daughter and I got caught in a rip tide area with huge waves. The water was really shallow then dropped off to about 5 feet deep with super soft sand. I couldn't walk in it to get my footing and my daughter could see the look in my eyes that I was freaking out. The waves kept bashing down on me and my heart was pounding so hard I couldn't get my breath. I managed to get one breath long enough to go under water and push off the ground and get my daughter back up on the shallow area. I was able to get myself back up after that. It still gives me a sick feeling when I think about it.

Anyone check out the new AC app beta? It's not bad. Needs a bit of work but I'm enjoying a (mostly) all in one app for the forums, blog, and podcast.
