Random trumpet sound

[Android Central Question]

My Samsung S9 device has started to make random trumpet notifications without any accompanying messages. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

I have 2 Motorola g6 play or something. One from work. My home one has maybe maximum 5 apps added on to what comes with it. Quite random trumpet sounds twice today. Does it every week or two. Annoying. I've forced stop Talk Sport and Uninstalled it. I use it very, very infrequently. In settings Notification were off. I do hope it's talk sport. Only have BBC.. not much else on here. I'll have to wait to see if it is Talk Sport.. fingers crossed.

Update: Still no trumpet sounds since removing Talk Sport.

Ron, thank you so much for this insight... like others this was doing my nut in. It would happen on average between 6 and 8 weeks apart. Thankfully, about a month ago the news of that wazzock Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Man U followed by the news Man U might be up for sale 45 mins later took me to the edge and it motivated me to look again and I found your post. App now removed, no fanfare since (even with the World Cup going on). Appalling that an app can do that without leaving any audit trail. I didn't have any notifications set, either. OnePlus support had me doing all sorts of things but fruitless.
