Random Vibration/Beep

The past few days, my 6P has been randomly vibrating followed by a beep. However, when I check the phone, there are no notifications. It doesn't matter if my phone is on vibrate or set to ring, it will still beep.

For what it's worth, I have only noticed this happening when I have been connected to WiFi, and only after I switched from T-Mo to Verizon.

I really think, well my personal opinion, it's something with Verizon. I have a Droid turbo for a company phone and AT&T for my personal phone, the Droid turbo will do this random beep and or vibrate for no apparent reason whatsoever. My Nexus on AT&T never does this. I gave up trying to figure out what it is, and really I don't even bother to look at the phone anymore when it does this. I keep thinking I'm going to stop by a Verizon store one day when I have nothing better to do and there not crazy busy and ask.

Update on this. When I have my ringer set to sound, it will play the first couple notes of my incoming call ring tone.

Just a thought... it usually comes back to apps... did you load any new apps from Verizon? Or do you have any old apps that you used on T-Mo still on your device?

The only Verizon app I currently have installed on my phone is the My Verizon Nexus app. Everything T-Mobile has been removed

Do you have phone numbers blocked on your phone? (I mean not from your carrier, but using the stock Android Phone app itself.)

In my case, I've blocked have several spam phone numbers, but if any of them tries to call me, my Nexus 6P (T-Mobile) will briefly ring (for less than a second) and then beep. To me, this is what the phone is doing:
- The phone receives a call from a blocked number
- The phone starts to ring, because it doesn't realize the number is blocked yet
- The phone quickly the number is blocked, and then hangs up, causing the beeping noise.

This is pretty annoying since I've inherited a number with lots of spam callers, but I don't know a way around it.
