Rather unique difficulty encountered when trying to root Droid X.

I have been following the instructions for rooting my Droid X, and things had been going very smoothly. However, once I execute the command "./rageagainstthecage-arm5.bin", the ADB software no longer recognizes my Droid X. Executing "adb devices" results in no devices being displayed. Essentially, once I get kicked back out to the "C:\android-sdk-windows\tools" directory, the ADB software no longer recognizes any Android devices connected to my computer, despite the fact they obviously are.

I cannot get back into the adb shell, and no amount of fiddling with settings, or unplugging and reconnecting the phone allows the adb software to recognize the Droid. Only when I reboot the device does the adb software recognize it again, but that also means I have to start the root process all over. I still cannot get the # prompt to appear.

Np it makes it so much easier, I had to do it the hard way on my nexus one, it was such a pain especially because I was using Windows 7, after I finally got it I re-wrote the guide lol
