What ratio do you use. Default is 3:4. 9:16 looks good and so does full. Does using 9:16 or full degrade picture quality? I'm using default right now.

It depends - the ratio you take the picture at should be the one it shows at. There's no distortion that way. Any difference between the ratio at which it's taken and at which it's looked at will produce distortion.

3:4 is the highest quality so I stick with that and reframe or crop my photo after if needed. The other ratios are lower quality and crop the top and bottom of the frame.

Same reason why I'm using 3:4 but to me it looks so much nicer when the screen is filled up.

Thanks.

The highest quality (most pixels) is 3x4, but if you then view your photos on your phone or a wide screen TV the picture will not fill the screen, you can always crop a 3x4 to fill the screen but then you will reduce the pixel count. To sum up, use the aspect ratio that fits your screen that you will use to view your pictures, if you intend to print pictures then I would use 3x4 and crop the picture before printing.
