Got the Razr about a year ago. I reboot it every few days, but it is becoming unusable. It is incredibly slow and takes up to 5 minutes just to start up. How do I backup everything including outside non-gmail accounts, wipe and erase everything? I wanted to use Titanium, but I have no idea how to root. I tried once on a previous android device and it was bricked.

Please help!!!

Rather not chance it and brick the phone. Is there a backup utility I can get to backup all the data and external e-mail accounts? I'll just wipe the phone and restore after that.

And then when you restore, you'll risk re-introducing whatever is causing your current slowdown.

Factory reset it.

I have to agree with him on this.

How many apps do you have on your phone? How much free memory do you have? What flavor of OS are you running?

There are a few dozen apps. I disabled encryption and it seems to run better and faster. Could this be the reason?
