Razr M became buggy Kitkat Update?

Hi guys. I'm planning to buy Razr M as my secondary phone. Just want to ask, is it true that the Razr M became buggy/drains battery VERY FAST after the kitkat update? I need feedback. Thanks

I loved this phone until I updated to Kitkat. Battery life is horrible now.

I won't say anything about it being "buggy" but the part about the battery is true. I have to carry around an extra power pack because it won't last much more than 8-10 hours before it gets hot and runs through what is left of the battery.
