Razr M seems to be only half alive.

Hey all.
I don't really know what else to call this, so here is what is going on: my Razr M got a bit wet, which, in the past, it has been totally fine with. It has gotten way more wet than it did this time. Anyways, the screen, after a couple of seconds blacked out, and I couldn't get the phone to start. I went away for 3 days, so my only evidence that it had any life left was the fact that the green charging light went on if I put the charger about halfway into the plug, which was a real pain. I could not get it so start, but a couple of times, it would display the "warning, bootloader unlocked" screen (I had unlocked it in the past, and it was the first thing that showed every time I started), then die before the red Droid booting screen appeared. This happened again and again as it tried to start up, then finally quit after about 20 seconds of this. I have not been able to get that to happen since. I got home, again, after 3 days, plugged it in, and it started up (this was after some time of half-plugged-in charging). It seemed fine. Charge was 100%, sd card was fine, and everything else worked (with the exception of the fact that it though my SIM card was missing, which it wasn't). Next morning, it was dead again. I have not been able to revive it again. When plugged into my computer, the green light went on, and Windows started the usual driver install attempt, but it did not show up as an external drive like it should. I still can not get it to fully turn on, however. I've tried all the power-volume and volume-volume combinations, and still, nothing.
Does anybody here know what is going on? It just seems to be half alive... :(
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to Android Central! I wonder if the battery is failing, and the water was just a coincidence. Unfortunately, in order to check, you'd have to open the phone up yourself, or bring it to a shop.

Another possibility is that the small amount of water that got on the phone actually found its way into the charging port, or maybe some other defect in the integrity of the phone, then made its way further inside the phone and messed things up. Either way, you may just have to bring the phone to a repair shop.

Now that I think of it, I did get the [?] battery for a brief while, but then it went away. That was new, and I've only gotten that symbol when I plugged it into a certain charger that I had. Hmm.
