Does anyone know of any good stable custom roms for verizon droid razr maxx with the new 4.1.2 jelly bean update. I've tried to flash several but none would work with this new update.

I am using rage rom and have been for about 2 months. Battery life is fantastic and have had no issues with it I have version 3.2

There are a few different 'types' of ROMs available: AOSP, AOKP and CM10 (which may be a subset of AOKP, someone please clarify).
AOSP are basically stock ROMs that have been heavily modified. They are very stable and are my favorite.
AOKP are 4.2.2 ROMs that have all the advanced bells and whistles, but are usually inherently 'buggy' or unstable. Some features may not work. It depends on your tolerance for these non-working features vs your desire to have the latest & greatest system apps.
I'm not sure how CM10 ROMs fit into this picture, someone may be able to chime in.
My recommendation: Use an AOSP ROM...try several different ones (they are very similar) and stick with the one that fits you best.
