Razr Maxx, WiFi no longer after Jelly Bean update

No, I am having the same exact problem as Mickkev. I can connect to Wi-fi at home but at work it says I am connected with excellent signal strength but I cannot google
or fb or anything. It says retry. I even had Verizon try to walk me through. I am in dire need of a fix for this problem.

Welcome to Android Central! Does your work wifi have a login webpage, or is it only a password right when you choose the network? If there's a login webpage, make sure you open your browser first to access that page. You might have to type in a URL like Google or Yahoo first, in order to trigger the login webpage to pop up.

It would be ideal to try rebooting the work router, if you can. Is it easily accessible, or is it hidden somewhere? To reboot the router, just unplug the power, wait 10 seconds, then plug it back in again. You might have to ask your IT department to reboot it for you.

I am having a similar WiFi connection problem at work using my Droid RAZR MAXX HD. I get connected to the wireless network, but can't reach the login page (URL) to complete the login for the wireless network and gain access. I open the browser (Chrome) first, and what should happen is the WiFi login page should appear regardless of what website I access. I have also tried to access the login URL directly since I have it saved as a bookmark, but the page never gets displayed - I usually get a message stating that I'm offline. I have noticed that if I power off/on my phone, I get directly to the WiFi login page and get connected quickly without any issues. The reboot of my phone seems to help, but what a hassle. This problem started occurring earlier this year (2014), but I'm not sure what upgrade to my phone or what app may be causing this WiFi login/connectivity issue at work! If anyone has any suggestions or needs more information, please let me know what to try. I used to connect everyday at work through the WiFi login URL but it's really become a hassle with my phone Others at work don't seem to have this problem, but I can't find anyone else that has a Motorola phone to see if they are having issues.
