So I am thinking of jumping back to Android from my iPhone. Had my eye on the Razr since it came out. Best Buy is offering the Razr for $150 plus $50 instant gift card. Which leaves with the dilemma of is the Maxx worth $200 more dollars... thoughts???

Razr maxx is only 299 so its only 100 more. I would say it is worth it if the battery life is as great as it is supposed to be.

If you are going to use your device a LOT, then the Maxx will be worth it... if you only use your smartphone lightly than the Razr will be just fine. Being a iPhone user you should know how much you use the device... emails, sms, mms, facebook, etc, etc, etc.

Its $200 less. $150 minus $50 instant gift card at Best Buy. That totals $100. Do you have either device?

150-50=100 which means the Maxx is 200 more. :p

In my opinion it's not worth an extra $200. I can manage a day's worth of usage with my razr, but that's my usage. Is best buy's return period 30 days? You could always try it out for a month to see if battery life is acceptable.

I have the RAZR. I would get the MAXX for sure. The battery life knocks it out of the park for me.

Yes it is 30 days. I don't ever buy from the VZW store anymore. Much better experience with Best Buy. That's what I was thinking... Try the Razr for 30 and if battery wasn't good enough go with the Maxx. Thanks.

I bought a phone at Best Buy a few weeks ago and only had a 14 day return policy... just make sure you double check on that!

I have the razr, which is awesome. However, if the 2 were available back in November the maxx would be a no brainer. I don't keep phones very long so i'm not going to update to the maxx, but for the slightly added thickness and awesome battery life it is the way to go even if it cost a little extra. Either way, its the best phone available IMO.

Have to agree, I go through best buy to purchase my phones. Sometimes they have better deals, but more importantly better customer service.

If you have the premier silver reward zone card from BB you get 45 days on all returns/exchanges which I rally like. But you have to spend 2500$ in a calander year to get it. Sadly my premier silver is run out this month :(
