RAZR or Thundebolt?

Droid Razr vs. Thunderbolt is a no contest win for the Droid Razr

Droid Bionic vs. Thunderbolt now thats a discussion to have.

I like the thunderbolt, and the options that it has, kickstand etc.
The bionic's hardware is ALMOST identical, maybe slightly better.
If you're into rooting/rom's that may play a part in your decision

Actually, HTC and Verizon have announced ICS for the T-Bolt (no telling when).

Did they really? I read a few months back that they were never going to do any upgrades, just bug fixes from then on. Could you possibly link me to where you read this?

Tbolt has the same, no? I was able to root it.
I don't know what motorola has been doing since Droid 1, but that was the easiest phone in the world to root.
Knowing the devs out there today, no matter what they stick on a phone or how unrootable they're supposed to be, they'll get root access.
Tbolt is unlockable via htcdev.

I just personally hate Moto. Their support ignores you, they keep boot loaders locked, and their phones aren't that cool

I say RAZR. I had tbolt and moved on to the RAZR when it came out. Stock batteries, RAZR wins hands down. Faster processor. Better screen. Better camcorders. Slimmer profile. These are my opinions as to why RAZR is better.

I owned a Thunderbolt and now have a Droid Razer (Not Maxx), I really liked the tbolt and I like the Razer I especially like Moto Cast to be able to stream from my home pc to my mobile any time I wish. They are both good phones but I do not notice the difference between the 1GHZ tbolt and the 1.2GHZ duel core razer. Am I wrong guys I do not notice or see a difference in speed.

I have never owned a Tbolt, so I can't do a direct comparison. I did come from the Charge to the RAZR, and I can say I definitely notice a difference, albeit a small one. I do think there will be a more noticeable a difference when ICS comes to both phones, though, especially with stuff like Nova and Apex launcher or Google Chrome. But running Gingerbread, the main difference is the lag time when opening, and especially closing, apps. My RAZR opens apps a tad faster and closes them and loads my home screen up a good bit faster. I also noticed improvements when running Go Launcher Ex, but Go Launcher still eats more battery than I'd prefer, so like with my Charge, I deleted it from my RAZR after a couple of days.

My friend had a Tbolt, and after breaking two, he convinced Verizon to give him a Charge. He liked the Charge a lot better. He said it was faster, had better battery life, and was much more durable. Because of his assessment (and what I noticed while he did have the Tbolt), I always considered the Tbolt second to the Charge. That may not be true anymore, but it seemed so last May/June. So while I admit my view may be skewed due to improvements on the Tbolt over the past year that I was unable to see, Tbolt < Charge < RAZR.
