RAZR style battery pull for tbolt

The RAZR cannot do a battery pull, but holing down the power and volume up, will do the same thing.

It works on the thunderbolt as well.

So, you're saying that now us Thunderbolt users can glue our battery in with super-glue, glue the case on with the same tube, and have a RAZR, by George! Cool.

No, silly. I am afraid one day the battery cover might snap off for good.

So, for grins, I did the same key sequence when it locked up. And it then powered back on.

Thanks for the info! I've only had to pull my battery once, but the process of removing my case and struggling with the cover was definitely irritating.

Does a soft battery pull style reset.

I'm sorry but I don't know what that means. I tried it and all that happened was the normal menu came up when you hold power key down

Only need to do this when you get a 'black screen' and won't power on.

Oh, I never get that. I get screen freeze with screen on so screen becomes unresponsive to touch. Either way all power with volume up does on my phone is what power switch does alone. Power menu.

Come to think, I did do this to a frozen screen that was un responsive. And it worked.

Guess it's a YMMV thing...
