I've just got a cheap new SmartWatch that uses an Android app called InfoWear to send the various phone notifications via Bluetooth.
I'd like to use RCS if possible and have tried using both the Google and Samsung messaging app. (I prefer the Samsung app due to its better dual-SIM support.)
Is it possible for InfoWear to send RCS message notifications to the SmartWatch using either messaging app? Even something like "You have a new encrypted message. Please open your phone to read." would be better than nothing.
I'm trying to understand why this limitation is in place. WhatsApp messages are encrypted but InfoWear can send those to my phone.
(I know Wear OS has this functionality but I didn't want to spend £100's on a watch.)
