How do I force switch from SMS text messages to RCS text messages on my Galaxy A53 5g smartphone??

Which messaging app are you using -- Google Messages, Samsung Messages, or something else?

If you're using Google Messages, tap your profile pic at the upper right, then Messages Settings, then RCS Chats. Make sure the toggle for "Turn on RCS chats" is on.

I don't think Samsung Messages supports RCS. Samsung is phasing their messaging app out anyway, so you should install Google Messages instead.

Samsung Messages is still getting updates and development please see my screenshot

Check in the Samsung message app settings if RCS available if not you won't have it on Samsung, as I see your other thread u get a pop up to switch to Google's message app.

Just because they're still updating it doesn't mean they intend to add any more features. It also looks like RCS is supported through Samsung Messages on only certain carriers. O ok. How do i contact Samsung that I really don't want Samsung Messages to phase out?

I doubt you'll be able to influence that decision -- it's already been made. The default messaging app on all new Samsung phones is Google Messages, I believe.

You can probably give feedback through the Samsung Members app.
