Re-calibrate Compass?

Anyone know how to recalibrate the compass on Android Wear? Seemed to work great once I first set it up...now it is wayyyy off. And no I dont want to reset the device

Same here on G Watch.

I couldn't find a direct way to recalibrate it, but restarting it from the settings seems to have straightened it out.

Restarting the watch or the app? I restarted the watch and it didnt fix it for me.

Also not sure how to restart the app other then just reopening it.

I'm having the same issue. I have the moto 360. From the research I've done, it seems that the compass on wear devices are not reliable....

What compass? I have the 360 and have no idea where this is.

I have the g watch r and all of a sudden it asked me to recalibrate the compass so I made the figure 8 motion it said to and nothing happened. Also a lot of the stuff I have read says there is a pre-installed compass application, I was just using the one on the hiking watch face. Is it supposed to be on my watch?

In the compass app, did you try to do the figure 8 while it is running? I thought that's what the message said after I calibrated mine the first time.

If you have wear mini launcher installed, you should see compass app (at least I do on original g watch).

Downloaded 'Sensor Dashboard' from app store. Captures output from android wear watches. Both 'magnetic field' and 'gyroscope' show as uncalibrated. I did not complete figure 8. Tried but did not regester movement. This app and android wear so not appear to be soup yet. Not enough setting opportunity
