Re-map soft keys with CM10?

Will CM10 allow me to re-map the soft keys? Specifically, I would like to bring up Handcent Quick Compose with a long-press of the back button.

Also, is it possible to switch the Menu softkey with the Home hardkey? I want the Menu key to be the Home key and the Home key to be the Menu key because I find myself pressing Home a lot more often than Menu, and I find that it is easier to press a softkey than a hardkey.

Not possible.. The only thing I can think of is to use AOKP ROM which will add onscreen buttons above the Galaxy S3's capacitive/hard buttons.. basically giving you duplicate buttons.

at 3:25 we can see a menu where you can assign different functions to the soft-keys; will this do what I want? Is Resurrection a different ROM based off of CM10 or something? Thanks.

No.. Thats the on screen buttons I was talking about. You would have two sets of buttons.. look at the phone on the right of the pic, thats what would happen.

And its based off of AOKP.. Similar to CM10 but with a lot more features.

Ah I see. And there's no way I can modify some file in the Android OS itself to re-map the key? Is there a file that's responsible for controlling what each key does? Thanks a lot.

I doubt it.. otherwise devs would have done it a long time ago instead of using two rows of buttons. I think its more of a hardware issue then it is with being able to modify the software.
