Re-Order Home Screens

You can set any page you want as the home panel, but you can't drag to reorder the pages. You have to add/remove pages manually, as well as the apps/widgets on each page.

Just to update, you CAN actually reorder the pages. Pinch on your home screen. That will bring up your widget menu, as well as page thumbnails. Long press on the page you want to move and drag it where you want it. You can also move home to whichever panel you like.

Yes, you can. I did it yesterday on a display model at a sprint store. You have to long press first and then drag.

But after you drag, you can't actually drop it anywhere. You can only remove it entirely. It looks like you can re-arrange the placement but you can't.

I can't do it either, but I also have no idea what the hell I'm doing with Sense. I do know I saw a way to do it yesterday, though. Getting back there is the trick..lol

This is correct. A long press allows you to pick up the individual pages, but you cannot drop them elsewhere in the order. It seems like incomplete functionality. As others stated, it's possible this was (half) removed in this version of the software

This is correct in my experience. I tried to drag/drop to reorder, and full expected to be able to but it ONLY allows me to grab the screen I want to move and NOT drop it where I want it. The desired screen just pops right back where it originally started when released. Perhaps JHBThree has a model that allows this as we saw on the pre-release review mentioned above.

Odd. The sprint model I used allowed me to move it around. I wasn't expecting it to work either, so when it did it surprised me.

I think that you are able to grab the screen in order to trash it, just not move it. I think that it is more intuitive to grab to reorder, and I am apparently not alone. It doesn't have to make Sense.

Yeah I've been trying since you initially posted. No dice. I could swear that I saw a way to do it earlier, but Sense is absolutely bewildering.

Nope,

If you guys are still having trouble with this, I may be able to help you out. Try pinching outward (as if to zoom out) on a home page -try an empty page if it doesn't work at first- and it should bring up a display of your home pages, allowing you to add, remove, and rearrange your home pages. I know this likely won't work for everyone, but it does work for me.

I'm using an LG Escape with AOS 4.1.2, kernel 3.4.0

I used to have a EVO 3D until I upgraded to the HTC One 2 months ago lol.

This trick worked for me on Samsung S4 Active (i537) running 4.2.2. An Android thing or a Touchwiz thing?

I don't know if it's because of the kit kat update but I can easily reorder my home pages. Pinch the home screen and then drag and drop the screens however I want.
