Re photos on the Samsung Galaxy Note 2

I cannot figure out how to back up my photos to anything other than Google, which I do not want to do. Anyone have a method of transfering from the device directly to an external harddrive? Thanks in advance!!!!

Could get a otg cable. Plug to the phone then plug into hard drive and move it. Ive done that before. Or a new wifi external hard drive
