To be honest, I'm not convinced by this article. The author seems to be grasping at straws and over analyzing a press release.... I could be wrong though.
 
GizmoCrunch, PopHerald, OnlineSocialMedia, ProductReviews, and several other websites will post the same garbage over and over. You can count on 1 thing, anyone who reads in these forums knows more than any of their editors. Its laughable how little they know. They are still posting how exciting it is to get the Bionic and posting the specs as the same that was announced at CES and saying its cutting edge. Its a disgrace and annoys me to no end what these guys will do to get a hit on their website.

Trying not to get my hopes up so I'm just sticking with late August release lol. Anything before will be a surprise present :D

Is the OP video from CES last year??? He states the Bionic has 512mb of RAM! At least the video is in focus!

i dunno. I am getting to the point of grabbing an xperia on my early upgrade then when bionic actually comes out use my wifes upgrade that comes due the end of this month and give her the xperia. Thank god she actually is interested in the xperia and knows how bad I want to get rid of this stupid storm 2. This back and forth speculation on release dates is getting rough and with the constant freezing of my storm I just can't stand it anymore. Heck I just called VZ and i got that amazing catch phrase that they have received no training on it but it is in their system though by name at this point. He did say I was more than able to go with my plan of upgrading now and giving to wife when bionic comes. Only have to do a ESN swapp and transfer both our contacts.

I almost had a moment of weakness and said F--- the Bionic when I went to verizon today to let my wife check out the xperia and see if it was what she really wanted. It looks like a nice phone spec wise and the gamer in me loves the gamepad. I had to pull myslf away and remind myself that I have waited this long since I first found out about the bionic back at CES. GOD THIS IS TAKING TOO LONG TO RELEASE.

Worst reasoning EVER!!! And the fact that they are expanding their LTE network also means it is coming out on that date??? They will spend the next few years expanding their network last time I checked.

I am not saying that it can not come out on July 6th, but their reasoning for it is moot.
