My Evo 4G is like a new phone after the GB update, will easily keep me going another 6 months to a year. The dual-core phones I have played with in stores are no faster in day to day apps than my Evo. Games are much better on those phones but since I don;t use them much I don;t miss the extra specs. I love blowing money on new tech, ask my wife, but i don;t feel compelled to buy a phone from this generation.

Yes the EVO 4G was an awesome phone. It started the push for better phones, from each manufacturer. But make no mistake, the EVO 3D is a better phone. It does everything faster. Anyone that says otherwise, is only kidding themselves. The Photon is a nice phone too, but Motorola is still just lacking in the software dept. It's funny because on a lot of the forums I see people with the Photon saying they wish their phone had this or did that, they're usually all items that HTC phones have. There's no question that overall, HTC is the King of Android. But Motorola and Samsung make some awesome phones too.

Something I think everyone can agree on, Sprint has a great phone lineup these days. Can't wait to see what's next.

This ranking disappoints me. This list should have either the Evo 3D or Photon on top, followed by the Nexus S 4G, The Evo 4G and the Epic 4G.

it's official... Photon is better than E3D..... did a speed test on my wif'es photon..... got 14.1 down, 1.7 up... never cracked 11.5 with my OG evo, just hope they get the no sound issue fixed really soon....

Speeds in VT have been pretty good with my HTC EVO 3D! I am not gonna complain! Photon has it pluses too I am sure! But for now I am an HTC fan!

I think the Evo 4G was the game changer for Sprint and pushed the envelop on what a mobile, media device should have in order to compete in the market.

The Motorola Photon gets my vote simply due to the fact it pulls stronger 3G and 4G signals and data connections are far more stable and consistent than all of my EVO's, including the EVO 3D.

My Motorola Photon is running sweet! Good reception and excellent clarity on both ends. 3g and 4g are spotty in downtown Chicago, but, that is not an issue with the phone but iwth Sprint. '

I did tweak settings for power consumption, after that I can go 10 hours as a heavy user as long as I don't use the 4g.

Compared to the EVO 3d I tried, this is so much better in feel, sound clarity and response. (Of course I did not get to really tweak anything on the 3d.)

lets face it if the photon had been out for the same amount as the evo 3d plus if it came out before the evo 3d, it would be winning right now, that's of course until the Galaxy S2 comes out.

I'd have to disagree. The EVO 4G came out a year ago and is beating the Photon. I know most of the Motorola users don't like to admit it, but HTC phones just attract more people. And the biggest reason is the UI. Motorola is still lacking in that dept. Obviously Sense isn't for everyone, but it certainly is the popular choice.

Or it could be the fact that people actually had the Evo 4G in their hands for about a year (whereas the photon has only been out for about 2 weeks) and voted for the phone that they had. Either that, or they're just loyal fans.

This poll actually means nothing ..not as many people have the photon ..remember the evo is Sprint best selling phone ever

And some of you HTC users don't think anyone has a clue of what we think a good phone is. HTC Mogul (Junk), HTC Touch (Junk), HTC Hero (Good), HTC EVO 4G (Great), HTC EVO 3D (Junk).

You say HTC just attracts more people.....most of us actually stay with our carrier for service/price. I'm not going to jump ship b/c my carrier mainly has HTC phone but best believe, when something better came along, I had NO problem switching from HTC to Moto.

Lets face it...some of you are just so stuck on brand loyalty that you're too afraid to take a chance on something else. Too afraid your beloved Evo 3D's really aren't as great as you make it out to be.

. . .I find that most phones that are leaving are to pricey in my opinion.. sure they lowered the price for most during the summer but still pricey. But compared to other company sprint it good.:D
You think phones are pricey? That 2 year phone contract costs about 10 times as much as the phone, the differences in price among phones are trivial. If you care about phones, buy the one you like.

You missed his point. The Photon is so new that it doesn't have much of a user base, yet. Most people will vote for a phone they have used and liked.

Me, I'm not voting. I just bought a Photon, but I've never used any other Android, so I don't feel qualified to compare. Sense? Maybe it's awesome, maybe it's bloat, I can't tell. I still wish there was a good portrait slider. That would have gotten my economic vote over the Photon. :)
