Reading books and magazines

I am thinking of getting the Transformer Infinity, or perhaps the 7" Nexus. I want to be able to use the tablet for most everything for which I currently use my laptop and Kindle Reader. OK, I know I have to make compromises and it won't be perfect for everything, but do many of you use your Infinity for reading books and magazines? I know the 7" tablets are easy to hold, but I'm not sure how easy the bigger and heavier 10" tablets are, and would like some comments and info from those of you who use them, or have tried to use them for this.
Thanks

It gets heavy after a while, but if you can rest it on your chest (or belly like me!) it helps. Kindle just slides the pages across the screen, but the Asus reader uses the simulated page turning effect.

This was a real concern of mine too. Having had the tablet for over a week now, I'm happy to say I'm thrilled with it as an ereader. The main thing that makes it comfortable to hold, I think, is having it in the standard "book cover" type case that most people use for tablets. In landscape orientation, it is freestanding and can balance on your chest or desk with no help. But most of us like to read in portrait, right? I found that if you fold the case cover back, but not quite all the way against the back of the tablet, you make a V that will prop the tablet up on your chest or desk the same way, with just fingertip pressure to keep it from falling over. It's super comfortable now, and the high res screen is fantastic for reading.
