So, you've seen and heard a LOT of things about this..
We all know that nobody on the internet ever tells a lie or exaggerates anything.
It's comforting and puts it all to rest that you've "seen pics and read posts"...
I must be on my way now, because they said on the interwebs that the end of the world was going to happen on 12/21.
This conversation reminds me of talking to my kids, determined to do something they've been told they shouldn't do simply because they want to see if they can.
And as I already said..having the LG Optimus for the past 2 years, I can count on ONE hand the times I manually turned the brightness up..
Not to mention the times I actually watched a movie on my phone was uh...NEVER.
Seriously, you people are acting as though your phone is the only device you will ever own/own at this moment in time that can do these things.
Everything in my house can play my hulu+, Netflix, PlayOn, Vudu..
Speaking of movies...it's nearly time to gather the family in front of my SGS3 for family movie night. Gosh I hope my screen doesn't burn-in. Geez..
Epic dramatizing everything for the win here...
And your use case is typical of everybody that owns phone? Nobody ever said you have to manually turn the brightness up. Auto brightness will do this for you. That's what it's for.

Also, pictures of the problem and statements from Samsung aren't exaggeration. I hope you don't get your weather info from the Internet. It might be exaggerated.
