Now that the thunderbolt is available, I was trying to find a reviewer who did a real world test for its battery. I found this:

HTC ThunderBolt Battery Time Revealed [Hands-On Test with SlashGear] | Android Community

DOESN'T LOOK GOOD AT ALL!!! For any of the Droid Inc users, you can only imagine the same fiasco happening all over again. And before everyone jumps on me to say that the battery probably hadn't been cycled enough times, stop! There's no battery that gains 2x, 3x, or even 4x battery life after properly being charged enough times. My Dinc might've gained a couple of hours at best.

This is just a headsup. I was REALLY interested in the bolt, but with this battery life its a deal breaker.

Ya, I saw that earlier, it is the one reason I have not left to pick one up yet.. I am currently using an iphone 4 and the battery life is amazing, I am a heavy texter, caller, data user and it always makes it through a full day. I am worried the T-Bolt wont be close :( Granted those tests were ran under 4g I wont have 4g in my area until the end of the year so it will be 3g only for me for a while.. I am curious how battery life is on 3g.

Just buy an additional battery and keep both charged. Problem solved.

The phone worth it.

Ours are both charging again (little over 2 hours) but they were roaming, and probably searching for any kind of signal.
