really odd

So I had my phone on charge at 3pm yesterday took it out of the charger had work from 3pm-10pm phone was on vibrate and during work was on my pocket. Was very warm. Anyways I checked my phone around 6-7pm and saw that I had 30% battery left? How is that when I didn't use it all day?

My guess is and app might have been stuck. Try rebooting the device and charging again. See if it repeats. A good thing to also look at is cell signal. A smartphone is still a phone, and will kill itself finding and holding on to any cell signal it can.

After work it was dead. went ahead and gave it a full charge all night. And seems to be working fine now.

I really think it was an app that was stuck, but the next time you work, take the occasional peek at the battery stats, to look at your signal.
