Really surprised

I visited Best Buy yesterday and compared the Note 9 screen on Google Chrome to the Pixel 2xl and Pixel 3xl and was super surprised to see how much larger the Note 9 screen is for viewing! The Note 9 had about 3/4 of an inch more screen compared to the Pixel devices. How is that possible? I thought the Pixel 3xl was only .1 mm smaller than the Note 9?

That notch makes it ALOT smaller.

it's .1 inch smaller so 2.54 mm but as bassplayrguy said the notch will make it a lot smaller specially when playing videos since they measure the screen diagonally assuming a recrangle (ignoring notch and round corners)
