Anyone know of a screen protector for the rear glass that adds some grip and is clear? My GF is complaining of her phone sliding on some surfaces. I'm specifically looking for one that would allow you to see the color underneath. Doesn't need to be optically clear, but does need to show the color. And of course, the surface must be grippier than the glass. I've searched, but I get flooded with hits for tempered glass protectors...

A cheap plastic screen protector will do for this.

When I got this phone I simply left the back shipping scratch protector on the phone, it's pretty grippy too.

Will I'm looking for more specific information. Brands and where to buy from us vendor would be most preferable. The factory protector fell off early on.

Thanks for the suggestion, but we really don't care for cases. Which is why if prefer a screen protector -like product.

There's this
Amazon.com: Skinomi® TechSkin - Sony Xperia Z3 Compact Screen Protector + Full Body Skin Protector with Free Lifetime Replacement Warranty / Front & Back Premium HD Clear Film / Ultra High Definition Invisible and Anti-Bubble Crystal Shield - Retail

Or just buy a reputable screen protector for a giant phone like the iPhone 6 Plus or Nexus 6. Any store that sells phones will have a huge selection. Put it on the back and trim the excess with an exacto knife.

I'll check that out. Thanks.

I looked up the Skinomi. Could work. Can anyone comment on how slick the surface is? TIA.

Your best bet is to just buy one. It's not much money and they're all relatively the same. All screen protectors that are not glass are a little tacky and are therefor more grippy than glass. Find someone with a plastic/polymer screen protector on their phone and you'll see what they feel like.

Just an update. I purchased the skinomi protectors for the z3c and z3. Works great. I can feel a slight ridge on the edge but it stopped sliding on most surfaces. Thanks for the recommendation.
