I've read in a couple of places online that tabs can be reordered or rearranged in Chrome for Android. Is this possible? If so, how is it done?

Thanks.

You can do it on Chrome on a tablet, but not on a phone. On a tablet, you can actually see the tabs. Long-press on the tab you want to move, then drag it to the new position. The phone's Chrome interface doesn't show you actual tabs--instead, if you tap on the multi-window icon at the upper right, you'll see all of your open Chrome windows in a stacked-card fashion, without any way of rearranging them.

Thanks. That clarifies everything.

I hate chrome stacked cards. I rather have the tabs.

Close tab, move to new tab location between remaining tabs, go to menu, select recent tabs and reopen the tab. It will be to the right of the tab position you selected. To put at the first position, you have to put it in second and move first behind it.

Thank you Deezell! Never thought of that and have been wanting to move some tabs I keep open.

How did you do that I just rooted my Samsung galaxy s4 to be able to put it into tablet mode but cannot figure out how. Would you give me instructions? Thanks
