Reasons Any Note 20 Owners Going Switch To S21U

It sounds like it would have an s-pen comparable to the Note9 - no Bluetooth and all of the actions supported by it.
IMO, if you can't holster the s-pen, it's useless. I wouldn't buy a case just to keep using the s-pen. I kept my Note10+ because I didn't think the Note20 Ultra was worth the money at the time. If there's no Note21, I may have to learn to live without the s-pen.
If there is no Note21, I would assume the Note line is dead as well they can't make a separate S model with an integrated s-pen, as the resources would be too much.

That depends on how much you value the intergrated Spen vs 10x optical zoom. The Note isn't dead yet.
Yeah, I love the S-Pen and use it every day but I also love taking pictures with the zoom camera. But why not have both phones

simple answer nope and from a selfish point of view I hope it sells poorly! personally I think January is a awful month to release a flagship phone! just after Xmas etc

I want a Note 21 and if it doesn't happen, I will hold onto the last note for a few years and eventually move away from Samsung.

Only 2 things so far about the S21 series catches my eye. The 10x Optical Zoom and the flushed camera module.

The N20U is very wobbly without a case :D

Sometimes i wonder what you can do with a Huawei Flagship... The camera they have is even more insane.

if and when samsung discontinues the note series, I will keep my note for another year or so then look at the LG stylo and see how it stacks against my phone. I want that storage slot for the pen.

I don't think I will be trading my Note 20 U for it but I would like to trade for a Fold, unfortunately it is not a trade option on Samsung's site

Personally agree about January being a terrible month for releasing a new flagship. Also annoys me that the note 20u from August gets immediately one upped... But then samsung had always separated the note and s releases. Wondering how big a jump the cpu/gpu will be with the new snapdragon chip. Largely academic vs the 865+ though with current apps.

Re: Reasons Any Note 20 Owners Going Switch To S20U

Have to agree here as well. The note 20 ultra is such a beast of a device as it stands feature size. The slightly bigger battery and Sd888 is only marginally faster. If you play alot of games then it would be an upgrade but the SPen is only partially supported with the S21U. The note series will always have full SPen feature support.
I went to the Note for all it's features years ago. I won't move to anything else unless it's another Note. I don't believe they will drop the line myself. I've heard that rumor since my first Note years ago.

Note 20 Ultra may have a few lesser tweaks but a huge nope here...

Note 21 ultra is my target, better Exynos chipset should mean better all round battery life and similar to the new Snapdragon 888 in performance, I only ever had one S device until the Note 2 came out then it was Notes all the way.
