So I forgot to plug my phone to the charger last night so I woke up to a dead phone. Plugged it in let it charge a lil bit, turned it on the and now the phone boots and reboots in and endless cycle. It seems from watching it, that it reboots right about the time the 3g radios would kick in but that's just a guess. I've battery pulled a bunch of times already and I'm not sure what else to try, but any ideas? Phone is stock btw.

Sounds like you might be hitting the stock recovery and trying a factory reset/wipe and see if that resolves anything...

Something similar happened to my wife's Epic 4g the other day.. Battery completely dead, she tried turning it on and nothing happened. Charged up, started and it basically did a wipe of her device minus a few things... She still had Google synced items and phone was still rooted but she lost all her apps & data from the battery crash.

Before I would do a hard reset. I would take the phone to a repair center with a battery tester, And have them power cycle it and or do a "WAKE UP" It add 100 mAh bump.

Well I got the phone to be a little stable. When booting I'd have a moment to use the phone before a reboot. I was able to turn off things that were booting (after a bunch of attempts). I turned off the 3g radio, gps, wifi, juice defender, removed a couple widgets, turned off the alarm clock and the live wallpaper I had going.

Phones been up for about 20 minutes now. Should I take it into Sprint?

OK phones back into a reboot loop. Think I should just have it replaced to be safe. Hope it's just a fluke as I couldn't be happier with the phone.

Taking it in for replacement is probably the best idea. However, I'd get rid of Juice Defender in any event. Task killers and network "enhancers" are far more trouble than anything these days.

Well took it into Sprint last night and the tech couldn't do anything so he wiped the phone back to stock.

Upon rebooting the phone froze. He went to try it again and the phone wouldn't respond. Went and got a new battery again nothing. My phone was a brick. He went and told his boss and I got a brand new phone, glad it was within the 14 day window.

Kind of a pain and I certainly hope it was just a fluke.

The good news is my phone had already gotten 3 slight screen surface scratches which I have no idea as to how cause I'm very careful with my phone. So this time around I put a screen protector on this thing. Guess the Gorilla Glass on my old Epic was no joke as I had that for almost 2 years with no signs of wear and tear.
