Reboot Loop Caused by SD Card Cover?

Today my One V started rebooting over and over and over, seemingly out of nowhere. In the process of trying-- well, everything-- I discovered that if I take off the cover on the SD card slot area, the rebooting stops. Buy as soon as I put the cover back on, it starts rebooting again. Any ideas how to fix this?

Really hating this phone right now! I tried resetting it to factory settings and it still keeps rebooting. I removed the SD card, and now it doesn't reboot as often... it reboots about every 10 minutes instead of every 15 seconds... But it still reboots.

It would help if you have a little more info. Rooted, stock, custom Rom(if so, which one), custom kernel(if so, which one), overclocked(if so, settings), any apps recently installed?

Stock, no custom ROM, and since I just reset to factory settings, no apps at all

I've figured out that if the radio is turned off, and I run solely of f WiFi it won't reboot

I'm going to try flashing the earlier RUU just before I updated to the latest firmware.
