My TB has been on a rebooting kick lately. It has MR2 -- it was pushed overnight and I couldn't refuse it.

Three times this week alone; twice today.

Once when a client called and once when my gf called -- we were trying to coordinate where to meet up.

This is REALLY RIDICULOUS.

I AM REALLY DAMN SICK OF THIS PHONE.

</rant>

I think it's time to go figure out how to root and install Das BAMF.
VZW doesn't seem to care -- all they've given me are CLNRs that are just as bad.

Just had to get that off my chest.

Thanks. :)

I would try a factory reset. If that does not fix it. Then u need to get it replaced.

Oh yeah, definitely I've done factory resets, twice.

This is now my fourth CLNR. I already put a screen protector on it... sigh.

I really don't another CLNR, but it might have to.

Thanks for the support guys. :)

come to the rooting darkside....

Between roms and radios it could help the issue your having.

I agree with Yodatom. The last update fixed my rebooting issue. You issues sound like mine after the May OTA.... I would hope they aren't pushing that out before they can push the Baseband 1.39......dumber things have happened. Have you checked which Baseband number they pushed you?

I'm on Baseband 1.39, MR2 (software 1.70) now.

I had a stock TB that was fine, then I got MR1 -- that was a disaster. Rebooting at least once a day. VZW Tier 2 finally authorized a CLNR. I had 3 that were terrible -- from pink screens to one that already had MR1 on it (and rebooted all the time), and audio that didn't work.

My 4th CLNR was fine and on stock. It was pushed MR2, and for a week it was fine.

In the last week, it's been rebooting a lot more again. Weird, right?

I really don't want to play the CLNR roulette game again, which is why I'm thinking about a custom ROM. =(

I kind of fell bad for all these topics I have been reading about rebooting for those having the issue. I guess I'm fortunate as I have not received any before or after the update. Hopefully Verizon and HTC can get this taken care of for everyone

I was having this reboot issue as well after the update and consistently losing my data signal (go from 4g, 3g to nothing). I figured it was a 4g issue so I change my setting to 3g only. After the change, my signal becomes very stable, no reboot and batter battery life. Just lucky?

That's what I was going to suggest. Try putting it in CDMA mode only and see what happens. If that helps the situatiuon, then I would call VZW support and tell them that you had to put the phone on CDMA mode to get stable and it could be a 4G issue with your phone and, well, either time for them to send you another replacement phone or something to compensate your issues. I would try that. See what happens.

You won't believe this, but I keep my TB in 3G/CDMA Auto PRL mode all the time unless I need a fast download.

Partly it's to conserve battery power, but also because my work has really bad reception, so if I have it on 4G in my office, the phone gets really hot and burns through the entire extended battery in about 5 hours of standby.

Although I haven't tried leaving it in 4G with this CLNR yet -- I'll actually put it in 4G and see if it helps.

that might help the issue if not at one point you will get a good clnr replacement
