Reboots during navigation may kill the OP3 for me

I am currently havin issues with OP3T and Android Auto.

Android Auto works, but after a while the connection to the car just dies and Android Auto of course shuts down. Only way to get Android auto working again is the rip off the USB cord and connect it again.

Anyone else have same kind of problems with OP3T and Android auto?

My moto X does this same thing with my 2015 Silverado 1500 LT-Z71. Its running Android 6.0.1 I believe. No Android auto though.

Just to follow up on this, I've had my OP3 since late October and have not had any reboots during navigation at all. And I use navigation all the time, but I don't use AA.

Which navigation app do you use?
I have had Waze cause a reboot a few times last week while charging.

My main nav app is Waze 99% of the time. I had both Waze and Maps running for a while today with no issues.

What charger are you using? I hate to think it could be something like a generic charger or cable, but stray electrons happen. And that might be the easiest and cheapest troubleshooting thing to change. I suggest you make sure to use Benson Leung approved cables though. I picked some from Cable Matters on Amazon that have worked well for me so far.

That's good news, what do you use, Google Maps or Waze? I use Waze every day and this is good news to read, must have been fixed on one of the updates. I find funny some people complain OP does not update fast enough, but Samsung has not moved to Nougat yet and OP3 should be Nougat ready in a few weeks; really don't understand that complain.

This was with the OP car charger and cable. I have the latest update too. It hadn't done it in a long time and happened 2 times in a matter of an hour and then the next day. I used it today and no issue. Good idea about the charger though. I'm going to test with the QC 3.0 charger and cable I use with my V20 and see if it acts any different.

I think Samsung being mainstream doesn't have as much to prove as compared to a newcomer like OP. Like it or not, OP has to meet a higher standard of performance and support than a popularly accepted and established brand like Samsung.
