Received my lg v20 from verizon today!

I have used SwiftKey in the past but recently started using Fleksy. It takes some getting used to but I'm finding myself typing faster now.

NextRadio FM app in the Playstore would see it if active. Verizon are Aholes.

Downloaded the app and it can't find the radio I don't know why Verizon always does this stuff.

SwiftKey. I've used it on my last 5 phones.. And all my tablets.. Best keyboard.

That's what I use too. I've tried others, but always ended up returning to it. There's no topping it.

Just switched from T-Mobile to Verizon because they had a better deal on the LG V20. Reading how Verizon disabled Smart Settings, My Location, and FM Radio. WTF?!? I'm beginning to think I made a mistake switching and maybe I should go back!!

Regarding keyboards: LOVE Swype!! Great keyboard and custom dictionary.

I called VZW's exec relations number and they said LG is responsible for the disabled features. So who knows?

I'm following that thread too. From the last post, it sounds like the radio might actually be missing from the phone, rather than just disabled in the firmware.

A great review, OP! Glad that you like this phone and are enjoying it, especially after all that had happened with the Note 7 issue!

As far as a different keyboard is concerned, SwiftKey is a very good app that predicts your typing; calculates your speed and heat map of where your fingers are most often positioned on your keys when you type; and the themes are great too.

Have you not seen the suforum at the top of this forum? . Rooting / ROMs / all that is fine. We only draw the line when people want to go into the illegal things you can do with root -- That is what is not allowed to be talked about since we don't promote illegal things like stealing apps or movies, etc.
