Received my Spigen Neo Hybrid and Caseology Parallax series

Got my wife and my cases in the mail today from Amazon.

Both are surprisingly similar. They are little more than a TPU case with a faux-metal trim piece around the outside. Its more than enough for me, but I'm worried the case wont be enough for my wife as she drops her phone multiple times a day onto wood and tile (hasn't broken her note 4 yet though with a simple TPU case on it).

Probably a little overpriced at $16, since you're paying a $5-6 premium over a TPU case for a faux-metal band around the outside.

We'll see how they hold up once the phones get here

I have the same Caseology case in black just waiting for my Black Note 7 to arrive. It is my 3rd case from them. I have two very similar cases for my Note 5. The ones for the Note 5 have provided good protection for the most part, I did drop my phone about a month ago from around 4 feet and it hit the corner on the edge. The screen started turning dark purple and by morning was completely black. On the positive side I have a new Note 5 to hand down to one of my kids.
