My father ordered the Droid Razr yesterday on his business account and before he could cancel it because he wants the HTC Rezound it ended up arriving already! He is out at the VZW store getting a new SIM because he used a different line to upgrade the phone but just letting everyone know it has shipped today and received today. I am waiting for the Galaxy Nexus but thought I'd give the community a heads up!

Two days before launch? That's pretty great. I'm waiting on tomorrow. Thrilled that they are showing up before launch day. Oh, and I hope that you get a release date for the Galaxy Nexus soon. I know the waiting game is tough.
I'll take some pics compared to the X when he gets back. I gotta say it is kind of an awkward phone to hold and what not but this is basically the size all phones will start being I assume. I can't even imagine the Samsung Galaxy Note! That thing is just huge and when I think about it being wider, taller and what not compared to the Razr its crazy. The Razr is ridiculously thing and light though I'll give Moto that.

Just got my RAZR a few minutes ago. It showed up to my work, so I can't set it up right now, but I'm really happy that Motorola and Verizon made sure the pre-ordered phones were delivered before Veteran's Day. Now I can rest easy and not worry about the delivery going to a closed office tomorrow.
This DROID eye on the front of the box is going to taunt me for the rest of my work day, though.

I just came here wondering about this.
My father asked me about smart phones (never had one) and I recommended the Razr because I thought the GN might be a little much for him plus he used to work on Motorola equipment for the state police and has always said Motorolas build quality was unmatched in the competition. So I figured the Razr would be perfect for him. He actually ordered 4 for him, my step mom, and 2 guys that worked for him.
Called just a bit ago and told me they all came in already.
I'm still holding out for the GN but I definitely jealous you guys are enjoying your new android phones while I'm sitting around with my thumb up my butt. Come on Verizon!

Just as I walked out the door to go back to work after lunch...the Fedex person showed up! It is charging right now because I know I will be using it like crazy once I turn it on. I can't wait to see how this baby compares to my nearly dead OG Droid. I am positive I will not be disappointed.
Got mine from the FedEx man. Won't activate. Called Verizon, they said it won't activate till tomorrow...

I just got mine today, and it's up and running perfectly! Just dial *611 on your old device, get in touch with someone from CS, and all they have to do is activate your LTE sim.
After that you will be good to go.
Really happy I got mine today, my OGD just about called it quits today (like she knew that she was being retired
).The biggest thing I noticed right off the bat... all the frickin BLOATWARE !!!!
C'mon Verizon, give us a break with all this useless crap and annoying ads already! (sheesh!)
Gotta root soon and dump this unwanted junk... especially being a majority of the ads look like they're for porn (wtf?)!
But other than that.. lovin my Dro Ra.

The best course of action and keeping your battery alive longer, is to let it run down first (priming it)... then giving it a good charge.

Activated. Don't be discouraged, I did have to call. Supposed to be automagic, of course. Ha Ha. Nice screen, like how it fits in pocket over orig. Droid brick. A bit warm while it's charging. Much better software! Easy to set up speedkeys, built in keyboard is better than before. Like like.
