The biggest thing I noticed right off the bat... all the frickin BLOATWARE !!!!
C'mon Verizon, give us a break with all this useless crap and annoying ads already! (sheesh!)
Gotta root soon and dump this unwanted junk... especially being a majority of the ads look like they're for porn (wtf?)!

You can hide the bloatware, but I'm not sure how much you can delete. However, I did delete the Blockbuster application so that article is true.

I had to login to my account online and click the activate device link. Once I typed in my account password and the last 4 digits of the social security number, it completed the activation. I've gotten most of my applications downloaded and pretty much have the phone set up the way that I like it. So far it's extremely quick and responsive. I will say that I'm kind of put off by how big the bezel is on this phone. The screen looks as though it's a little small due to all of the unused space.
