Received text messages exactly 1 hour ahead

Every text message I receive is exactly 1 hour ahead of what time it is, where I am.
I checked my settings and time zone is correct. Time on phone is correct.
The text messages I send have the correct time.

I might be wrong, but aren't SMS timestamps handled by the Carrier/Operator? If it's only happening for incoming messages that could be the issue, not your phone.

Never heard of that but it does make sense to me.
I just figured the phone timestamped everything.

I'm having a similar problem, when i send a text it's got the correct time, but if someone text me back, it's one hour behind my current time.

Oddly enough, I monitored it this weekend.
I could text somebody standing next to me.
Correct time on my outgoing text.
They text me back and it is 1 hour ahead.

Ask them to text you stock prices and see if they come in with what the price will be one hour ahead?

But seriously, I've only ever seen this type of behavior when the sending person was on Sprint and roaming on VZW towers.

I am with Sprint, and I was in a Sprint 4G coverage area.
LOL, I need to look into the stock thing tho!!!!!!
