Verizon Galaxy S8 Receiving double texts

I'm using Verizon messages+. I started getting receiving double texts about a week or so ago. Sometimes I only get 1, but most of the time 2. I did get a security update a while ago, it might have started after that.

Have you tried clearing cache and force stop the app?
