Receiving links in e-mail

When I receive hyperlinks in e-mail messages, the links appear as text and are not "clickable". I have a friend who has an Epic Android phone and he has the same situation. Is there a setting that is preventing us from being able to tap on these links and go to the referred website or is this something that is not possible on our Android phones?

it would be helpful if you told us which Email App you are using.

Yes it would. This is probably a security feature either controlled at the server end or the Mail client. Check your Mail client settings for turning hyperlinks off.

Whatever is the standard e-mail client on the EVO. I didn't think about a different e-mail app... Hmmmm... Any that are outstanding?
