Receiving MMS messages

Coming from an iPhone I never had issues receiving MMS messages ie pictures.
But ever since I have began using my infuse, I have gotten more and more frustrated with the way android handles receiving MMS pictures.

For instance:

1- More often than not I have to download the picture and wait.
2- After I hit download a few times and wait I don't receive the picture.
3- It automatically makes you look at the pictures in slideshow format?

Most MMS messages sent to me are from iPhone users and I have to tell them to email the picture instead.

Please Help guys!

Mine always come through in slideshow format (with the play button) even if a single photo.

But they always display. I haven't experience 1 or 2 on your post.

Stock Infuse? Stock Messaging App? You could try a different Messaging app from the Market.

Messaging->settings->Auto-retrieve MMS ON->problem solved

somthing new i recentley learned, if you use juice defender, an option within jucie defender disables network data when conencted to wifi which will prevent pics from downloading. so if you have juice defender enabled and are conencted to wifi, try disable wifi tap download and see if it works!
