I finally updated my tmobile note 8 to pie. When I had oreo I had my recent button bring up a list. Now, on pie it brings up the actual app. Is there a way to change it to list view?

This is what I show on pie. I had the option to show a list view on oreo which only showed the app name.

On oreo I had the 3dot menu at the top of the recents page that gave the options of lock app, thumbnail view and list view. I don't have that on pie and really like the list view.

You can go to the Samsung Galaxy App Store and download Good Lock. It has a Task Changer plugin that offers a list view in Pie.

Good Lock has alot of other supplemental apps besides the "Task Changer" app. Pie/One UI took away several features and Good Lock has been a good way to offset some of those changes. Not a 100% answer but it helps.

Thanks for merging the threads. I had tried good lock months ago on oreo and it didn't play well with Microsoft launcher which I use. I'll try it again. Thanks

I downloaded good lock and then task changer. I don't see how to change recents to list view.
