Recent Google Play store no longer has "My Apps" option to manually update apps?

Where is it? after this update I can no longer find the My APPS button the menu to get a selection of all installed apps to do things like "update all" etc.

For me, it's now called My Apps And Games, in Version 6.0.0 of the app. What version do you have?

There's a funny glitch after the recent update. Sometimes the "my apps" option doesn't show up in the side menu. Just tap on "apps & games" then open the side menu again and you'll get the option.
