Recent Key issue

On my S5, certain apps menu's were accessible using a long press of the Recent Key. That's no longer possible with the S7. It just wants to do a split screen. Even after installing a multitasking toggle app that disables split screen, the long press won't take me to the app's menu. Wouldn't be a big deal, EXCEPT it's the only way to access the app's menu! Thoughts?

Settings - accessibility - dexterity and interaction - assistant menu

Use the overflow from that menu as the menu key.

Not sure what you mean 'use the overflow...'. Don't see anything than seems appropriate. Under the 'Edit' or 'Assistant Plus' headings...? Can you elaborate?

What app(s) are you using that doesn't have menu buttons within the app?

It's Fuel Log Pro. An older app that has years of my data. It doesn't appear to be supported any longer. I emailed the developer but have not heard back.

After poking around where you suggested, i found the sub-heading 'edit'. I was able to add a floating 'more options' icon to my apps. Voila! I was then able to import my saved data. Thanks so much for your help 👍!
